“We love staying at HDM. The included breakfasts are amazing. The access to town and the beach clubs is a must! The only minor complaint is that the concierge service was difficult to communicate with via their website chat. The owners of the property could invest in new towels and perhaps robes for the guests. You could tell this property is just a rental.”

“What an amazing and luxurious place to spend time with family, friends and the ocean! This villa is right on the water and you hear the waves as they lull you to sleep at night. Our bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. We cooked most of our meals there and the spacious kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The huge balcony is the place to be for a perfect evening of dinner and drinks around the large dining table, or morning coffee in the comfy sitting nook or……

“The apartment was well appointed and very spacious. The location couldn't be better. You can easily walk to all of the restaurants and shopping locations in town. The hosts communicate well and are very helpful. When we return, we will definitely look to stay here again. ”

“The area in the immediate vicinity has some “temporary” issues that are beyond control of the property owner/manager, but definitely worth considering. There is a major street construction project underway that makes walking directly to the “restaurant row” sketchy. We had no problems, but if one has ambulatory issues s/he will have to consider taking a longer route. The beach in front of the unit is very rocky and has virtually no soft sand to speak of. This may have been caused by Hurricane……

“The property was perfect for our family getaway to Punta Mita. The unit comfortably slept 8 people with on suite bathrooms with every room. The two master suites were enormous and luxurious, and the kitchen and dining area were perfect for entertaining. Location can’t be beat. Short walk into town through a private gate for those in the mood to walk, while the 6-person golf cart provided with the property allowed for all the beach clubs to be easily reached. “The service of the chef/housekeeper (Benny!), the concierge Alejandra and the in home dinner chefs were truly 5 star. We loved the location. The furnishing of the property were beautiful. We did have some challenges with the unit itself and had to have maintenance come multiple times: lights that would turn to strobe lights in middle of night so we couldn't use one of the bedrooms, a waterspout that wouldn't stop dripping, and a toliet that got clogged and/or broke multiple times. “We absolutely loved our stay here at El Anclote. This particular condo unit is one of the best in the entire building. It undoubtably has the best views and being an end unit, it has a bit more privacy than others. One of our favorite aspects was sitting on the patio that overlooks the street below and watching all the happenings on the street. I prefer this to a pure ocean view as it provided lots of entertainment for our kids. The condo also included ample T.P., paper towels, snorkel……
