However, I was disappointed that I had reserved for 3 people and was only informed the night before arrival that the property could only provide a room for 2. This should have been communicated much earlier to allow time to make alternative arrangements. Otherwise, the stay was good.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Giuggiulena Villa! The location is right on the water with a gorgeous view of the Ionian Sea, nearby sea caves, and just a few steps down to access the water for swimming. Sabrina and Claudia are wonderful hosts. They are personable, friendly, and helpful. Claudia is an amazing cook and provides a delicious homemade breakfast. We especially enjoyed the freshly brewed bialetti coffee, freshly baked stuffed breads with spinach & cheese/ ham & cheese, homemade tiramasu, fresh……

“Raphael è stato molto disponibile, sempre gentile e professionale. La camera era ampia e pulita, dotata di tutti i confort essenziali e luminosa, vista mare. Mi piace molto la completa autonomia per l’utilizzo dell’alloggio. Per chi come me arriva in macchina trovo che la posizione sia comoda, anche se ovviamente lontana da Ortigia. Molto probabilmente approfitterò nuovamente dell’alloggio per il prossimo soggiorno!”

“ The hotel staffer is nice, very helpful and we can communicate with each other in English. The hotel is close to train station and town centre but it takes a little time to locate it. The hotel sign board is quite small and not so easy to identify. There is an Asian restaurant next to the hotel which I enjoy having food there. The hotel is located on the 2nd floor of the building and there is no elevator. I appreciate and thank that the hotel staffer gives me a helping hand to deliver luggage……

“I loved my stay here. The apartment was small but oh so charming. I loved the balcony. I sat out there every night with a glass of wine and my book. The hostess was great to work with. She allowed early check-in when I arrived early and let me store my luggage when I had to check out but, my train out of Syracusa wasn't for a few hours. I would definitely stay here again if I were in that area.”
