“We loved the quirky "olden day" cabins and yet they were so beautiful and classy inside. For staying in a cabin where we had to use the shared kitchen and bathrooms, I was nervous about the cleanliness and I was amazed at how clean everything was. Everything was easy to use, no confusion. Our kettle didnt want to open in our cabin and it was quickly replaced by another. Lovely playground and tennis courts basically on the premises and easy short walk to the main street through Greytown!……

“We were completely blown away by the Woodroyd Estate! The winding road to the house transported us to another world. The house is spacious and wonderful to explore. Likewise, the grounds were very entertaining to saunter around. It will definitely be the most memorable home we stayed at during our three week vacation. ”

“This place was amazing! We had been quite busy travelling around and seeing the sights of NZ and really needed a little time to recharge and relax and this was the perfect place to do it! Such a pretty cottage with everything we needed. Loved sitting outside listening to the birds and enjoying the seclusion. Great place and the host was so helpful and considerate. Would heartily recommend. ”

“We booked the house for four nights. Due to arriving at the house late afternoon we had no option but to stay at the house on the first night. We contacted the owner the following morning to advise home that the property was not fit for letting and cancelled the remaining three days. To be frank, one would not stay at the property even if it was free. The property did not present as advertised - in fact it was the polar opposite. The property was advertised as a 70's Mansion - indeed I am……

“The property was totally fit for purpose and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were super comfortable. The only downside was that it did get a little noisy early on Monday morning as it is in an industrial area. We were woken by a noisy rubbish truck. Can't be helped though!”

“Lovely quiet house with gorgeous views. Local cafes were delicious and the area has such a lovely vibe. Hosts had added little touches in the house to make it very comfortable, a lot of thought had gone into making guests comfortable.”
