The immediate area has been recognised as a Conservation Area since 1994 and forms an exceptional architectural enclave in character and form. This pretty cottage is a modern but cosy renovation of an original cottage dating back to 1635, located near to the city, the wonderful Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale and just a scenic walk away from the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Studley Royal Park and Fountains Abbey. The parking area to the side of the cottage leads to a private walled patio garden and access to the cottage. Entry from here is into a spacious kitchen with breakfast bar, sparkling Victorian tiles and everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. French doors to the left of the kitchen lead to the living area at the front of the cottage. The lounge area with oak furniture and comfy arm chair and settee has a fireplace with wood-burning stove, making it a cosy place to sit during the cooler months. To the right of the kitchen a hallway gives access to a shower room with wash basin and toilet, a single bedroom and a spacious master bedroom with king-size bed, pretty cream furniture and french windows leading out to the patio garden, a perfect place to sit and relax. The cottage provides an ideal place for a small family or couple, thoughtfully designed and completed with loving care providing all the conveniences of modern life.
