That said, be sure to check out Guardamar's gorgeous dune beaches, which are well worth a visit. Golf lovers will also get their money's worth. The clubhouse, restaurants and stores can be easily reached on foot. Those who spend their vacations here will enjoy the tranquility, the view up to the mountains and in the evening the sea of lights in the valley. Not far away is a nature reserve with salt lakes where you can watch exotic birds. The region offers numerous weekly markets where you can buy exotic fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices - just go exploring!
