While entering inside the property the feeling of romantic colours and flavours will surround you recalling a hot summer in Provence mixed to the cultural ancestral looks of a Sicilian country house, but incredibly enough you will find yourself in Rome, at just 1 km from what is known to be Nero’s Tomb, and at 20 minutes’ drive to the heart of the eternal city. Part of the garden houses a small playground for children. The Country House was once built and very much loved by a famous Italian intellectual Journalist and writer (if you wish to know more this link will take you to the history of this undisputable fascinating and important pillar of Italian literature, including its typical Italian renaissance
design garden, olive trees, fruit trees and colours all over. Once you enter the Country house, expect a charming, understated setting which really and truly hides precious books of 19th-20th century, paintings, antique Chinese furniture which was originally bought back from the owner's grandfather on a famous Rome-Beijing made in 1908 trip. The whole setting is full of history and warmth that only an artistic and intellectual Italian family can provide you with. Hope you will enjoy and love as much as the landlord does today. The Country House, on 3 levels, has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large living room, a library, an enormous kitchen, a dining room and an entrance room. The garden has also a shared Swimming Pool.
