Waterfront Retreat in Rotonda West golf community
Lovely two bedroom, one bath duplex in desirable, waterfront location in southwest Florida, Rotonda West.
Newly renovated, fresh and clean with everything needed to spend the Season or Summer golfing, fishing, canoeing, watching Braves’ and Rays’ baseball, reading and relaxing. Rotonda has five stellar golf courses inside the neighborhood and is surrounded by many others. Spend the day fishing in the Gulf, only half a mile as the pelican flies, or right in the back yard as the duplex is bounded by the Rotonda River on two sides and has its own private dock. Picnic on the quiet island right outside the door and enjoy the lovely warm weather all winter or the lovely Gulf breeze all summer.
Bring your own, or rent a boat, canoe or kayak to put in the river and tie up at the private dock. Enjoy front row seats to Rotonda West’s Holiday events like the Lighted Boat Parade, the St. Patrick’s boat parade and the Fourth of July festivities. The parades come right by the duplex and the island gazebo beside the duplex is illuminated with both holiday lights and the lovely Holiday Tree during the Season. Baseball fans will love the location, 10 miles from the Rays’ Spring stadium and 15 from the Braves’. Near-by rental companies for canoes, kayaks, golf carts and SUP, sunset, fishing and dolphin cruises.
The duplex is fully furnished with two queen beds and comfortable living room furniture, dining room set and casual, comfortable furnishings on the lanai. Wi-Fi and a giant smart TV will keep you entertained on quiet evenings. Games and books are on hand for an afternoon on the lanai or to take to the beach. Beach furniture and towels are ready for use. The kitchen is designed for full service with dishes, silverware, pots and pans and an assortment of plastic dishes and drink wear to take to a picnic or to the beach, new electric stove and microwave and a new refrigerator with ice maker. All the small appliances you will need including toaster, blender, electric can opener, both a coffee maker and Kureg. The bath has a tub and shower and plenty of fresh towels, hair dryer and starter soaps, toilet paper and Kleenex. The linen closet is stocked with plenty of extra sheets, kitchen towels, blankets and a large basket full of bright throws to cover you as you enjoy the screened lanai in the evening, watching the stars. The large lanai is screened with protection from insects and allows you to enjoy the beautiful view all day and evening. Private washer and dryer in the utility room also includes starter detergent pods, cleaning products, fabric softener and dryer sheets.
The Hill restaurant at the Rotonda Country Club is directly across the canal and both it and the golf courses are open to the public. The Marina is your back door neighbor and a boat ramp is directly across from your new, private dock. Enjoy wildlife viewing from the lanai with a quiet backyard space and dock with no close neighbors. Stop at the grocery on your way in and you are set for a relaxed, warm Winter in style or a Summer on the beach. Private parking beside your unit.
