Les propriétaires sont de belles personnes, gentils, avenants et de bon conseil pour la découverte de ce bel endroit que nous ne connaissions pas. C’était une belle rencontre. A recommander.”

“We loved this property. Probably one of the best we’ve stayed at. Supermarkets were a 15 min drive, as was the nearest (open!) boulangerie in Castillionnes. The house had everything we needed. Beautifully clean and comfortable. Fans in the main house bedrooms for warm nights and my parents had A/C in the pigeonnair. The pool was fabulous, much needed in the summer sun. “If the property was owned by Ronseal it would use the phrase "Does it exactly what it says on the listing". Easy check in and communication great during our stay for a couple of minor things that came up. Location is brilliant as 15 mins from the brillliant towns of Eymet and Duras and a hypermarket in Pineuilth. Quet location even though a road is close .Pool area is brilliant . Garden and amenities great . All ages stayed from 18 months to 82 years old and we loved every minute even the 8...

“This place is idyllic! Have just got back from the most relaxing week in this fab place! The accommodation is great, with a real french farmhouse feel, super clean and everything you could need. But where this place is a real gem is the outside space, always able to find a cool space in the shade or the sun if you’re a sun worshipper! Plenty of space to eat alfresco and the pool was great! Fulfilled my dream of morning coffee over looking the vineyards! I’m sure I’ll visit again .. it’s so good...

“A very large wonderfull House at the dordogne River . We Made a fishing tour at the dordogne and stay one week there . Everything was top.”

“Belle gîte honoured its name: within an old farmhouse this gîte was charmingly set and furbished, with access to beautiful terrace under high roof where we relaxed every night and during daytime as well. The pool is in the back garden with view on vineyards and surrounding area. Hosts Simon and Cheryl are wonderful, around and available if needed, warm and positive attitude. “La maison est vaste, l’aménagement intérieur est très « brocante », ce qui pourrait être charmant, mais il n’est malheureusement pas assez entretenu : armoires sans étagère ou sans porte, brûleurs de cuisinière bouchés, porte de chambre qui ne ferme pas, etc. La piscine est belle, mais son environnement est là aussi bien triste : terrasse en petits galets désagréables sous le pied, arbustes morts, bâches qui trainent, volets dont la peinture s’écaille… Les propriétaires sont sympathiques, mais...
