“We absolutely loved our stay. The home is beautiful and was perfectly clean. It matched the listing and even exceeded it in someways. If you want an adorable house with tons of space and all the great amenities, this is the place for you. The setting is beautiful tucked away in the woods away from the downtown (well downtown for Door County lol) areas, but only minutes away from Sister Bay, Baileys Harbor and Ephraim so it’s the best of both worlds. Little things like having firewood and……

“Nice kitchen, fire place.”

“The home was perfectly situated away from the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to enjoy all of the local offerings. The house had everything we needed. The coffee bar fully supplied was wonderful. The guide book for the home walked us through everything we needed to know. We had lovely evenings relaxing in the hot tub. The host was very responsive to our questions and to offer suggestions of places to visit. We look forward to returning to this beautiful home and area. 10 out of 10……

“We loved our stay at your cute log cabin! It had absolutely everything we could have needed and the location couldn’t be beat. Especially loved that our dog was included in our stay. Michelle was very communicative and responded quickly any time I reached out.”

“Smooth experience and easy communication with the host. Highly recommend!”

“Room was perfect for our group of 6! The loft room was so comfortable. We also loved the hot tub and the late night out door fire. Also noting staff went above and beyond the entire time. Also where do you get to stay that has an actual key! It was great”

“The Birch Retreat apartment accommodations were very nice as described. Great large shower, but not a full kitchenette (only sink is in bathroom) but owner added lots of accessories to make it easy to do basic things. The property (and one other adjacent Plum Retreat apartment that I know of) is connected to lovely & gorgeous new Secret Gardens with a new small shop & on-site events developed by the owner; the Birch apartment is a renovated part of the re-development of the former Green Gables……

“Close to town but not as close as was assumed”

“Outstanding experience! Lovely cottage, thoughtfully set up with everything we needed... Clean, comfortable, spacious, and stunning views of the bay! Our family of 6 kayaked, fished, played board games (fun selection for many ages), swam, explored nearby Sister Bay, and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. My boys especially loved the e-bikes available by request. Highly recommend Paddler on the Bay. We will def rent again!”

“This house was exactly what we were looking for to relax after our daughter’s wedding! The house and the grounds were so inviting and well stocked with everything we needed. The location is excellent - and the recommendations of what to do/see very thorough and appreciated. Communication with the host was excellent. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to be back soon!”

“Cute cottage, perfect for our weekend stay in Door County. It’s actually bigger than it looks in pictures. It’s just off the main road but still very quiet. It’s also about a 3min drive into Fish Creek. It’s also pet friendly if you’ve got a pup you’re traveling with.”

“We have rented multiple vacation homes and condos through the years, but this was the most thoughtfully equipped venue we’ve ever booked. The condo was immaculate, and I’m a very picky guest! Communication was effortless and timely. Clear instructions were left for our stay. The location is perfect! You are right across from the water with multiple shops and restaurants just steps away. Enjoy!”

“Nice”

“The property was ready earlier than promised and check in was smooth. Well maintained with thoughtful amenities. This is our second time staying here and would do so again without hesitation.”

“Great place!”

“All was wonderful! Beautiful property, perfect location.”
