“It was nice to have have a kitchen so I could cook meals rather than nuke them. Though the microwave came in handy to reheat coffee. Also the Roku TV was a plus. I could watch my regular programs. I was out and about all day so mainly used the Cosy Cottage evenings through the night. The place was nice and clean will definitely stay there again. ”

“We stayed 3 nights in mid-July as a base for hiking in the southern section of the High Peaks. Cottage was cozy and welcoming, very clean, plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers to gather and also be out of each others way. Screened-in porch was lovely. House stayed fairly cool despite the stretch of hot/humid weather we hit. Access to fairly extensive hiking trails right on property. Easy drive to places like North Creek, Schroon Lake and Keene Valley. Would stay again. ”

“Our family enjoyed our stay at this rustic Lakeside cabin. The house was very accommodating and the view across the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed campfires, listening to the loons, and star gazing every night. It was also great being able to bring your dogs, who am I say thoroughly enjoyed the water. ”

“Our stay was a great one! The location was perfect and the lake access, with private beach and kayaks, was a huge bonus for my kids. The cabin was a good size for our family of four. We wanted to be close to Camp of the Woods, but be on our own meal schedule, so we could not have had a better location. Being right next to the Speculator Inn was another bonus. Check-in and out was easy, communication was great with the owner. We're hoping to come back again!”

“We really loved staying in this home for our vacation! Check in was so easy. And the kitchen was great, plenty of dishes, and fully equiped with all we needed to cook our meals. The owner was so friendly and accomidating! It is a great place to stay, our 5 kids ages 9-21 had a great time too! ”

“The property was beautiful. We had everything we needed and more. It’s obvious the hosts are thoughtful people. I absolutely recommend!”

“Amazing cottage, lots of room, big open spaces, excellent kitchen and dining area, 2 fireplaces outside, outdoor patio with furniture. Fans in most rooms, huge beds, nice bedding, extra bedding and pillows, rooms were decorated well with a cottage theme. Full bedroom downstairs with king bed, downstairs also has a game room, sitting room, and washer and dryer. There is no TV on the 1st or 3rd floor, only on the 2nd floor, with a fire TV app. The property is large and quiet, we saw lots of deer……

“This is a charming home. It was clean and neat and had everything we needed. The owner was very communicative and helpful. We were within walking distance of shopping and dining, which was perfect for us. Also, this was a ski vacation for us and we were only minutes from Oak Mountian which was very convenient. We'll definitely be back!”
