“Staff was excellent.. always ready to serve. Property was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was a good size … double sinks! I just wish they would offer REAL coffee (at a reasonable cost) and not those machines. The machine coffees are not good at all. GREAT water view from our room. “The elderly couple who runs this accommodation are two of the nicest, sweetest, friendliest, and most helpful people you can ever meet. They give you the entire 2nd floor to yourself, including a bathroom, your own bedroom, and an office, and they cook you breakfast in the morning! “Lovely quaint hotel. Staff attentive and helpful.
As per other reviews yes there are no lifts second floor rooms are a slight hike up. Yes the rooms could do with upgrading but for what you pay for a night and an ease of access to the port no complaints from us.
We had a family quadruple room, good size but really warm room, no air con small windows but lots of road noise when open”

“The place is very basic and comfortable. The room was very clean. We weren't able to adjust the temperature in the room which we would have liked. We did all at the desk but it's possible that language differences made our request useless. It's a great base for Normandy sightseeing.”

“This hotel is simply amazing, the property is well kept: beautiful landscape, garden, restaurants and bar. We had breakfast and dinner which were well prepared. The breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of bread, crepes, meat and dinner menu has a wide selection, including kid’s plate, seafood, meat and desserts. They have an extensive dessert menu also.
Everyone is simply attentive, kind, and welcoming. Receptionists, servers, and team members were fluent in English.……

“Stayed 4 nights. Clean room, comfy bed. Breakfast was ok, eggs, bacon pastries and breads. Not always quick to replenish, and toaster broken one morning. Restaurant was ok, nothing special, but no other restaurants nearby apart from Mc Donald’s. Generally staff friendly and helpful. Always plenty of parking. Dogs seemed to be allowed in for breakfast and 2 were actually sitting on seats at the table being fed meats by their owners!”
