sehr schönes Schlosshotel

wunderbares Hotel. tolle Zimmer, gute Betten, sehr schöne Lage und vorallem RUHIG gelegen. Wir waren zum Médoc-Marathon dort -> ideal. Nur ca 5 Min. mit Auto zum Start in Pauillac. Gutes einfaches Frühstück, sehr nette Gastgeber.

Beautiful building and surroundings

Superb location for exploring the northern Medoc vineyards (St Estephe, Pauillac & St Julien). Beautiful old Château building with about 10 bedrooms and lovely gardens in the midst of St Estephe vineyards. Restaurant is currently closed for restoration but a choice of delicious cold plates are available in the evenings; very ample breakfast served on the terrace at the rear of the property. Large and spacious bedrooms with stunning vineyard views. A quiet and very comfortable place to stay -excellent value.

Lovely building and helpful staff

Lovely building, although some areas are dated even though some of the property and rooms have been upgraded 2 years ago. A bit remote with not much in the local area other than a few wineries. Very helpful and lovely staff. Restaurant is closed but they do offer breakfast and tapas in the evening. Good accommodation for the price and would stay there again in the future.

Belle propriété

Accueil sympatique, beau cadre, chambre spatieuse. Salle de bains veillissante. Nous aurions apprécié avoir de quoi préparer thé-café dans la chambre.

Lovely chateau in the heart of the Medoc

Comfortable, cosy and oh so quiet and relaxing. Lovely chateau to come to after a day of wine touring. Not much else nearby, but good restaurant and beautiful building. We practically had the place to ourself when visiting in April.

Lovely boutique hotel

Beautiful little boutique hotel. Lovely and delicious dining. Friendly staff, not a lot of English but pretty good. Good Wifi. Very rural, have to drive if not having dinner in the hotel. Many lovely wineries around but MUST have an advance reservation for tastings!

18thC elegance with modern facilities

Booked for our 30th wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint. A great base for exploring the vineyards of the Medoc. Well priced considering the excellent standard of accommodation offered. Do book dinner here - you won't want to drive after sampling the chateau's excellent St Estephe
