“Die Lage ist einzigartig, auf einem Hügel ohne Nachbarschaft mit Blick auf die umliegende Gegend um Cinigiano. Es gibt nur 8 Zimmern und wir haben uns zwischenzeitlich fast alleine auf dem Anwesen gefühlt. Es war wirklich ruhig & entspannt. Obwohl die Unterkunft schon 14 Jahre alt ist, sieht es aus wie neu, und die Liebe zum Detail hat uns besonders begeistert. “The place is a very organized camping ground. With that being said, it’s not close to anything, it’s like a 25-30 min walk to the marina and downtown restaurants. They have access to to the beach and a small store that is necessary if you bring nothing. There’s a restaurant but we did not try it, navigating the grounds is confusing and there’s no views of the sea just camping tents, RVs or little cottages among the trees. “Somehow I missed that this was a camp ground when I was booking. However, if I was expecting camping, it would be great. It is well shaded right by a beautiful beach. The pool was smaller than expect, but I enjoyed the water aerobic class in the evening. We had a superior tent. It was stifling hot inside when we arrived. It took some time to cool off. “Pros: The apartment is right in the midst of the old town of Orbetello so we were able to walk everywhere. There's a grocery store within a block and multiple restaurants, including one right across the street. Our host, Barbara, arranged for family to pick us up at the train station and to bring us back when we were leaving. We felt that was going above and beyond and really appreciated it. Having both wi-fi and laundry was a huge help.”
