“We loved our stay at Cheese and Wine Suites! The staff were warm and friendly, and everyone spoke English which was nice for us because our Portuguese is limited to a few basic phrases. The room was super comfy, and the included breakfast was yummy. Free coffee 'round the clock was a nice perk for a coffee fiend like me, and we were given a glass of wine and some cheese as a welcome. There's also a garden off the dining area where you can eat your breakfast, or sip a coffee or glass of wine.……

“This is an absolutely lovely hotel in the middle of a vibrant beautiful neighborhood. Fantastic staff and highly recommend The Secret for an evening meal. The property is very quiet but you are in the heart of where people live work and play so a small bit of street noise is to be expected. Also recommend local restaurants Goose and Faber. Very walkable, close to the public transit system. And yes, Lisboa is beautiful and hilly!”

“It is a horrible start of my stay. I did not receive any notification regarding to the check-in process so I have to press every single buzzer on the door as there is none sign outside of the building. One of the residents who are so kind to offer the contact number from the owner then fianlly we were able to get into our room. And it is very late in the evening already. One of the heater is not working and the bathroom smells. I have to convince myself in order to be able to stay there. The……

“There is a very narrow staircase to second floor that was hard to take baggage up. Constant noise from within apparently and outside, every time you open Faust a loud noise appears, bed. Wry uncomfortable and not enough space on the second floor to even stand, you need to crawl to the bed extremely hot and when leave window open mosquitoes had party on my body. Both nights I did not sleep at all. One good thing was Santos station was walking distance to take to beaches. Oh another thing……

A FUIR !!! ”

“Good location easy to visit attractions,TV is down and freezer is stucked can’t open it”

“I spend 4 nights at Locke de Santa Joana and it was incredible. My room is inside the cultural gallery display which’s unexpected and I love it. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. The two restaurants in the hotel are prefect and worth to try.”
