“We had a wonderful stay in Salida! The property was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. It was a great home base for exploring town, hiking, and relaxing after a day outdoors. The home had everything we needed, including convenient laundry, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Salida!”

“A very different and interesting location with incredible views in piñon and juniper forests. The owner provided great information on the solar and other systems. Because several days were cloudy we did use the on site generator to be sure we had adequate battery power. We would definitely stay again…it’s all about place which was fantastic especially when the sun came out and we saw new snow on the Sangre de Cristos!!”

“Really enjoyed our stay. Very modern and clean with a great balcony. Great location next to the best bakery on the planet! Be aware if you can't do stairs there is no elevator. Also, the unit is somewhat small with not a lot of room for storing luggage/clothes. Check out the Mantis Kitchen food trailer in front of the Liberty Hall. Amazing.”

“McNifftyville was an awesome home for our short stay in Salida. The rooms were all inviting, creatively decorated, and comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful and so well stocked. The icing on the cake was the beautiful backyard where we relaxed on the large covered patio in the certified wildlife habitat and got to see so many species of birds. If we ever need a place to stay in Salida again, we will certainly return to McNifftyville.”
