'Flint Cottage' is ideal for individuals or a couple holidaying, or for a longer stay for someone working in the area. 'Flint Cottage' is single storey, with no stairs or steps, so ideal for people who are less mobile.
Flint Cottage has just been redecorated and refurbished, with a fabulous new kitchen and bathroom.
It has a homely sitting room with log-burner (for cosy log-fires in winter); a well-equipped kitchen with a hand-built pine dresser which is a real feature; a separate dining room - which overlooks the sunny (private) Courtyard garden at the back of the cottage; and a bathroom - with full-size bath and thermostatic shower over. The Master bedroom has a 5ft kingsize bed, but can be arranged as a Twin room (with two 2’6” single beds). The 2nd bedroom has a standard 4ft6 double bed. Beds are made up, with cotton bedlinen, before arrival. A hand-towel and a large bath-towel per person are provided.
Saxmundham is an ideal location as a base for holidays in Suffolk, and is just 15 mins drive from the Heritage Coast.
With the A12 less than 1 mile away, it is also within 30 mins drive of all the places you'll want to visit: Southwold, Orford, Walberswick, Framlingham, Thorpeness, Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings, Woodbridge, Halesworth, RSPB Minsmere & AONB Dulwich Heath.
