“The room was fair, the plug in the bathroom sink didn’t work, the bedside light was a bit dodgy. There were too many stairs for my bad knees, especially carrying a case down.”

“It was a nice room the staff a very friendly and helpful. They can be hard to find but if you wait they do come. The shower in my room did not have much pressure but it worked. The bed was nice and the food was great”

“The room we stayed in (3) seemed brand new. It was large with a comfortable bed and excellent walk in shower. We also discovered that they did evening meals, which were good value for money, tasty and filling. The male staff we met were very efficient without being over friendly, whilst our breakfast server, female, was both.”

“The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area.”

“The property was very clean and tidy. The Continental Breakfast provided was varied, plentiful and fresh. We only met the owner, Rosie and one other member of staff called Linda. Both were very welcoming, nice, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t really have time to investigate the area as our stay there had been for the purpose of visiting friends who we had met on previous holidays abroad and to attend their daughter’s wedding. We wouldn’t hesitate to book to stay at Hogwarts again……
