“Once we found the house it was very warm & cozy. The mini- muffins on the counter was a bonus. House mailbox was 87 but address was 89 that you only see if door is closed which it wasn't on 1st 2 passes. Limited exterior lights made coming back at night a challenge. ”

“Always a great place to stay!”

“My unit was exactly as described. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return again. ”

“This is a beautiful place to stay and Carol was an excellent host, very communicative and welcoming.”

“Our review of the property at Sun Filled Lake House Living property from July 10 to July 18, 2026.Overall, we had a wonderful time. The property looked exactly like the pictures, and we absolutely loved the character of the old-style cottage. The setting nestled in the woods was beautiful, and having two outdoor sitting areas was a great feature. We particularly enjoyed spending our mornings having coffee on the front patio, which quickly became our favorite spot. We also spent a great day at……

We specifically chose the location so we could bike the Farmington Trail loop which starts at the bottom of the hill. The house is so well stocked with everything you could think of, especially coffee and there is plenty of space to relax inside and out. The host was very attentive to our needs. It couldn’t have been better for us.”

“We can't wait for our next visit north to stay here again. Great location with easy access to the highway, Hartford entertainment, etc. -- and just a short walk to West Harfford Center. And our favorite Chinese (Black Bamboo, thanks Sunny!) is just around the corner. The home is perfect for us, with the 1/2 bath downstairs being an added bonus. The upstairs renovated bathroom is great too. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffee maker (with coffee supplied) and delicious……
