“The hotel is close to Sparta and Mystra. A beautiful hotel, well maintained and clean. The landscape is beautiful and there are archeological sites to visit. The nearby villages are worth visiting as well. Where the problem lies is that the hotel promotes itself as a luxury hotel. However, to tick this box you need to adhere to such standards. For example, when we went to sleep in the evening the pillows were too bulky and thick. We asked for thin ones but we were told that they can't get any……
“The lobby, and restaurant area look pretty good. But the rooms definitely need an upgrade. Air conditioning not working properly all the time, you have to bang the door to the room to close it and open it, no coffee/tea amenities in room, no iron, no robe, no slippers.
No bellhop to help with luggage. I have fallen on the front steps of the hotel twice because the steps didn’t have enough light and floor markers. No one came to help me even though I’m sure I was visible to the desk staff……
