"The room was a little run down, and the breakfast was lame. Frozen prepackaged waffles or a muffin, a yogurt, and one piece of fruit. The place was not busy but the breakfast was rationed like the army. You couldn't have more than one piece of fruit or a second yogurt. The prepackaged waffle I was given was still frozen. And there was nowhere on the property to get drinking water. At least the staff at the front desk were very friendly. "

"Clean rooms, bathrooms, comfortable bedsheets and pillows, room temperature wonderful. Fridge and ice machine and microwave available. Great view of the lake from our bedroom. Jacuzzi was very warm with jets. Game room has arcade games: foosball table, car racing game, skee-ball, air hockey game, 2 claw machines. There is also a movie room with child friendly movies. There is a giant beautiful cozy fireplace in the lobby. There is a village walking distance that has a toy store, great restaurant (fish tacos, arugula burrata peach salad) and a gelato and crepe place. There is also this beautiful train village track with miniature village. It’s free. There is also a random couch outlet with a nice selection. For breakfast or brunch, highly recommend a sport grill, called Lake Arrowhead sports Grill in Blue Jay, 5 minutes away. The owner is Sergio, who served delicious omelet, pancakes and hash browns. Highly recommend!"

"Very nice hotel overall. Excellent free breakfast with omelette station and bar with taco during week. When I checked in at 6 pm hotel was full and the only room available had no working TV. I was offered a 50% discount for that night, negotiated that night to be free but folio only shows the 50% discount. Will follow up but maybe I will hear from Ayres to correct this in light of my positive review? Stay tuned. "
