“I was there less than 24 hours so can only comment on my brief time there. I told the property when I’d arrive and they had someone meet me. I had a private room with bath upstairs. The bathroom was quite large. Had sample size shampoo, body wash and conditioner. Ample towels. There was an air conditioner set up in the room that went on throughout the night. That combined with the train kept me from having a great sleep. The sheets were comfortable. I was bummed that their restaurant didn’t open……

“From the moment I opened the door I knew I had made a mistake. The smell was abhorrent, the cleaning staff shoving dryer sheets in the AC did not fix the smell. The blankets had cigarette burns in them, the TV did not work, the remote was sticky, the bathroom walls had holes in the drywall, stains cover the carpet. Breakfast consisted of a few bagels and a communal jug of cream cheese. 0/10”

“Very cute little place with great staff and good food. It is a little to noisy for our liking but I can see how some ppl can enjoy that but for sleeping purposes just a little too loud for us. It is expected though because we were right above a bar. It is very family orientated and very cool atmosphere with yard games to play and I know bands play there so that would be cool to see (none were there when we stayed) the staff was AMAZING (owners & others)! It was a good getaway but need more sleep……

“The staff was kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the history of the property. My room was clean, there were plenty of towels, and a wonderful bed, with a variety of pillows. The greenbelt and a path to the river made walking my dog very enjoyable.”

“Very comfortable bed. Quiet space. Good shower. Breakfast was adequate. My only complaint is that the tv controls (there were two of them) were difficult to use and couldn’t get local stations live.”

“Loved our stay here! What a lovely property. Everything was well stocked, clean, and the creek is so peaceful.”

“We were lock out of our room for over 4 hours and tried to get ahold of someone to re program our room door code and couldn’t get ahold of anyone so we went to the next door neighbor and it just happened to be the property manager. This is why I’m not giving an excellent review since we were unable to get into our room for over 4 hours and had to sit in our car since the weather was cloudy, rainy and cold. Other than that we were happy with the room overall.”

“Everything is good, even they charged me $50 deposit fee, I should enjoy it, but I was bitten by bedbugs ”

“You could not ask for a nicer quiet B&B and the hosts were amazing. You will be all by yourself as they only host one couple at a time. On Cottage Lake the facility is warm and friendly, and a little dated with the layout. It's private and breakfast is served at whatever time you want, and it's excellent! A very nice getaway that seems away from everything but only half hour-40 minutes or so from Seattle. ”
