“Property was clean, modern, and obviously was impeccably maintained, and everything works. The beds in the master and one of the bedrooms are comfortable and firm, but not hard. The area is very quiet, just how we like it. The owner accepted our senior cat (20 years old) into the home with us. We are thankful. The owner sets this property up very well: check-in was supery easy, communication was a breeze. The fact that everything was smooth from beginning to end points to the thoughtfulness...

“My friends and I had a great time celebrating our birthdays at the Palisades Cottage. I think the pictures don't do it justice. It's spacious, but cozy, and the backyard was a great space to hang out and grill up some dinner. Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to beach, and some good bird watching, too! Very pleasant stay overall.”

“Amazing gathering place with beautiful views (mother nature showing off all that is colorful on, on the ocean). The heat is space heaters, not central, which worked well as directed by labels.”

“The location was perfect, especially when you have grandkids that wake up at 7am asking to go to the beach, it was easy being only steps away. The first floor ceiling is low with a beam that runs across making it hard on tall people and the stairway to the second floor is tricky but overall the place was great!”

“This little place nestled in the redwoods is the absolute perfect spot to spend a weekend. (Or longer - I really debated calling out of work and booking a couple of extra nights.) Cozy space that’s perfect for 1-2 people, super close to Soquel, Capitola, and Santa Cruz, if you feel like leaving, and if you don’t, one of the patios, the hammock, or your room with the windows open so you can hear the creek are ideal for decompressing.”
