“As promised, a real sanctuary. A small and hidden gem attached to a farmhouse, everything was spotless and clean like home. The farm grounds are beautiful, with a lovely view of the Peaks of Otter. This place is great for a couple or a solo traveller, a spot to unwind and unplug. It forced a change of pace and filled the day with activity — we went on three hikes including the challenging Sharp Top mountain, visited an apple orchard (and bought a peach sapling) and had excellent Thai and Indian……

“Nat was one of the most helpful hosts I’ve ever interacted with. He gave us so many recommendations on things to do, where to eat as well as details about the house and area, which made planning for the trip that much easier. House is located right off the blue ridge parkway for easy access to hikes and right down the street from twin river outfitters. Great stay!”

“This place has potential, but there are several things that need to be done for the property to bring it up to the standard of a vacation rental. First and foremost, it needs a deep cleaning. We spent our first full day of vacation cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds are awful. Awful. The appliances are in need of replacement. The entire home needs somebody with resources to invest some cash and bring it to a standard worthy of charging people to stay. Some other things of note,……

“What a lovely stay! The property is stunning, the hosts went above and beyond to make sure my stay went smoothly, and the home is adorable! My little dog and I had a great weekend stay, but I could imagine it being great for longer stays with a decent sized group too! (Also cannot over emphasize how immaculately clean everything was!!)”
