The neon sign in the office said open but nobody was there. We called the phone number on the office but only got a message. We waited over 30 minutes before someone finally called us back and said they went to the store and would be there in 15 minutes! The manager finally arrived about 20-25 minutes later. We had requested a 2nd floor room as far off the street as possible. She assigned us a 1st floor room nearer the middle of the motel. This was also with no other car in the entire parking lot so I knew there were more acceptable rooms available. After voicing my displeasure with our assigned room the manager relented and gave us a more acceptable room. When questioned about her absence while supposedly being open from 3pm till night she gave us very snappy answers and was very rude. We had stayed in this motel a number of times and liked it very much so this experience really put a bad taste in our mouths and are likely to ever stay there again.
