“Staff were friendly, room is very outdated and had a strange smell. Beds were average, shower was good. Breakfast in the morning wasn’t fantastic, we paid £120 for one night stay with breakfast but not sure it’s quite worth that to be honest. Wouldn’t stay here again.”

“This B&B hotel was beyond our expectation, really nice and warm feeling staying there. Only 10 min driving to Plymouth downtown, quite and comfortable. Nice and traditional building with good experience. Good breakfast and condition that we really enjoy staying there for 2 nights. “Initial meeting at reception was very jolly and helpful. Our room wasn't too far away, but getting a parking space nearby was nigh on impossible. Signage to say you're allowed to drop-off/pick-up would have been appreciated.
There was two conferences going on when we arrived, about an hour before the official key collection time, so we had a look around at the facilities, which was what you'd expect with a spa/pool etc.
My husband booked to play golf, but gave up after 9 holes as……

“Agree entirely with a previous review. Not an hotel, just a B&B with bar and a very limited menu. The proprietess wanted to talk at us. The son, considerably older than 21, came up to us in the bar and said his mother would be with us soon to serve us drinks. Clearly he was not authorized to. Why? So we waited another 5 --10 mins for her to appear.
No hot water in room - neither shower nor wash basin. Reactions were "we know one of the hot water timers is faulty, but it's nearly time for annual……
