“Great location”

“Very comfortable with a home-from-home feel. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast range was excellent. The room was a good size with good facilities.”

“Excellent food in a lovely village next to a main road however when you shut the windows the traffic noise was vastly reduced. The close room was great value.”

“There is a photo of a Jacuzzi bath on the garden rooms. I thought I would pay extra for a jacuzzi bath but I was told that was only in the bridal suite, I was very disappointed and felt this was blatantly misleading so it’s worth considering that, they should change the picture really! Also I think they need a new kettle in the room, it looked very scaly and dirty, (see photo).”

“Nice hotel in quiet location with lovely outside area. One member of hotel staff unhelpful when we advised that the WiFi was unavailable. Good evening meal, breakfast offered a reasonable choice but cooked option wasn’t great. Good hotel for the money though.”

“Really lovely place. Breakfast was a little odd - a Full English was listed alongside a smaller version. We ordered the Full English and got 1 of everything, which begs the question of how small a small breakfast could be. Otherwise a lovely stay, and will come back (asking for an extra sausage though...).”

“We only had a stop over, we stayed in the part that I guess was modern a few years ago, it could do with a refresh now and it's become dated. It needs a bit of money spent on it.”

“Breakfast is the problem. We were told that Sunday there is no breakfast, which is not written anywhere on the website; so we had to have - and pay for - breakfast somewhere else. Then, when we had breakfast the other days, we were asked to order the evening before (not written on Expedia as well) and what we were given was barely enough. We all had to spend extra money to reach a very minimum bearable breakfast - as we are people who were in Peterborough to work, not holiday.”

“The staff were great and helpful, Breafast was very good, and our evening meal exelent bar was well staffed in the evening and well stocked , unfortunately the cleanliness of our room was not good , especially the shower, which had black mould on the tiles and shower door was in need of some maintenance, the toilet was not clean behind seat and in the hinges of seat and lid was not clean , and the sink has a large crack in it .”
