“We stayed at the Hidden Trails Retreat for 3 nights. My husband, myself and our 3 boys (13 and twin 12s) found the home very inviting on arrival! We arrived to a very clean home, with a large basket of snacks! 😋 It was a welcome site after a long drive from Colorado. There was plenty to keep the kids and adults occupied during down times, my husband introduced the boys to some old school PS2 video games and puzzles and games were found throughout the house. “There were elk, bulls, cows, woodpeckers, lizards.. there is a creek within walking distance and a few more creeks with in a few miles. The cabin it self is extraordinary, me and my family always love coming here. They did a lot of upgrading on the place and it’s even more amazing. I recommend this cabin to everyone looking for a vacation spot. The owners are so nice and always easy to get ahold of. We will be back..”

“We had our son and daughter, their spouses and kids. I really liked how the layout of the house allowed each family to have their own private section while the living rooms and kitchen allowed for great interaction. We never felt crowded. The ping pong was a hit though we did have to buy paddles due to the poor condition of those on the property. We also purchased repair kits for the pool cues that were broken so we could all play. I really liked the outdoor decks, but was a bit disappointed in……

“A Relaxing Time In The Forest. Laze on the wraparound deck. Enjoy the wind in the pines. Walk to the Verde River for a picnic or meditation. Or a dip. Learn to love the incessantly cockadoodling rooster across the road by buying fresh eggs laid by his brood. ”

“We love the treehouse. A creative use of space such that a person has everything one could possibly need. A wonderful bbq (top of the line) on the deck adds to the amenities. We love the downstairs outside area. It's super comfortable. Good comfortable bed. Fans, heat and A/C which we didn't need in early June, but is there if needed. Great hosts. We enjoy staying every year.”

“A beautiful little gem outside of Payson. We were looking for remote place to let our dog run loose and this for the bill! Only complaint is the back fence is not secure so our pup did get out once. The house it's self is extremely cozy. It's the yard and porch that make this place special because they are beautiful! If you're looking for a place to get some R &R outdoors this is the place for you!”

“Very clean and cozy cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. for cooking. Huge VHS library. We loved seeing the Elk pass through the front yard in the mornings.”
