“Wonderfully located -- close to everything but just far enough away to be calm and quiet. After exploring Stirling, we took the train for a day trip to Glasgow, just 45 mins away. Very easy and just a 10-15 min walk to the station. Beds were VERY comfortable, good closet space and dresser. The second bedroom has very low head clearance, not for the claustrophobic. Also, I must not have paid close enough attention to the listing and didn't realize the bathroom was not on the same level as the……

“The property all on ground floor which was great close to the hospital. It was local to where we were meeting relatives for a long weekend away. Very clean and well heated and wifi was ok. Only negatives were we couldnt find a toaster or a wire grill to toast in oven and after contacting host re hairdryer was told in was broken. Luckily I washed by hair the day we travelled and its just about ok 3 days later. Would have took mine if known but itinery specified one.”

“We had a marvelous stay.The property was clean and very comfortable. It had all we needed for a family of 4 with two teenagers. The views over the fields and valley from the living room were outstanding and made a great backdrop for our holiday. Nearby Crieff and other towns easily accessible. We will be back. “Beautifully appointed & spacious apartment very close to Glasgow university & city centre. Bus stop, eateries, bars & convenience stores all within a short walk. We were provided a generous welcome pack to help us settle in for our 12 day stay & we were shown how to use the modern amenities. A very comfortable stay.”

“I can’t put into words how stunning this place is! The host had the place all decorated for Christmas since we were there for the festivities which was great as we had a little one with us. The house is very spacious and was spotless! Only bit of feedback I have is that the kitchen utensils could be doing with an update. I was cooking christmas dinner which was a bit harder as there was no working potato peeler and there was not a small knife to use, only large ones. There was also no whisk but……

“We all immediately felt relaxed upon walking through the door. The place just has a cozy feel. Would recommend to anyone that's looking to decompress and just hang out. You must go to Puck's Glen though, which will be more than enough exercise for your stay.”

“We had a great mini break at Dunmor House with family. It is a well maintained, comfortable and well equipped house. There were 14 of us but it didn’t feel in the least crowded. There are numerous sitting areas and it was fantastic that everyone had their own bathroom. The pool table/table tennis table was a great hit with the adults and the mini version games table was a winner with the kids. Loads of garden/conservatory games as well. “Wonderful property for my wife and I - only forty mins from Edinburgh by train and easy to drive to Glencoe and the Lochs Superb accommodation exactly as described and everything worked as it should - even provided an hdmi cable in main tv to link to iPad which is a nice little touch. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend or stay again.”

“Others have said it, I’ll reiterate it: the pictures do not do the property justice! Not only is the property gorgeous and well-stocked, but it is extremely spacious! The views were second to none and access to the café at the foot of the garden, as well as the unspoiled views across Loch Katrine make this a bucket list type property. The owners were incredible from beginning to end and always on hand for whatever we needed. we would love to visit here again and stay, as so many wonderful……

“This property is not well maintained, updated and appears very lived in. The heating wasn't working properly, the upstairs toilet ran constantly, there was one threadbare bath towel per person and many other problems. We had booked for one week and left after one night. The host was very responsive and refunded our money without any problems. We have stayed in VRBO properties all over the world, but this was our first bad experience.”

“Beautiful spot in the countryside with a wee stream running behind the cottage, very peaceful. We booked as 5 adults, Hotels.com simply stated 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Did not say that all but one double bed were in the same room… so my husband and 24 year old son had to take one room, and sleep in a double bed! And us girls had to take the other one. Assumed there would be 3 bedrooms? Anyway, nice stay. Think Hotels.com should mention only enough wood and kindling for one heat, so had……
