Beautiful view! Lovely old-fashioned cottage. But it is not your usual Vrbo in that it is a "housekeeping" type cabin that you might find in an old-timey up north vacation (which is fine but make sure you know this in advance. The beach is great; be careful with kiddos and dogs because of the road/alley (no dashing). Very limited kitchen supplies, for example, they have a grill flipper but no grill tongues. If you use the kitchen like we did, you'll need kitchen towels/rags. There was one roll of paper towel (we left extra). The grill is charcoal, so bring charcoal. I noticed some firewood behind one of the cabins that might be there...for a beach fire ring fire. There is one bench out on the beach, which was nice. Keep the food cleaned up and packed away. There is a nice broom in the closet. Mattresses are not comfortable at all - they are like a kids-camp quality. My son is tall and ended up just curling up on the sleeper sofa as a sofa instead of using the pull-ou mattress because it was saggy, so I wished I had brought an air mattress for him. However, the range and fridge are new, with nice chairs on the front deck. The bathroom is very tiny and bare-bones (very old-time campy again). We are used to camping, so we were just fine, but it was a little different than other rentals I've had. I was happy they had some fans available. We all liked the dining/living room area and the large lake window.
