“This is a very nicely appointed home. The extra sleeping area is next to the main bedroom (you have to go through the smaller room to get to the master). The location is next to a gas station/Dunkin which is convenient but we did hear trucks early n the morning. The apartment is stand alone with garages off to the side. Extra touches included snacks/ water/ tea and coffee/ hand cream. The only issue I had wan s that a $1500 security deposit was taken automatically if you did not opt to pay $59……

“Very nice, clean and comfortable "pod" with lantern and night table. Private and very quiet. We really appreciated the shower facility. Conveniently close to Ithaca/Cornell U. Ethay was super responsive and helpful when we approached from a road we were unfamiliar with.”

“This is a little slice of heaven. Owned by a kind and lively woman who turned a kids camp into a great rustic spot to chill. Good vibes all around, very accomodating. Offers everything you want with your stay, so call or email ahead. Check out her website before booking for extra info.”

“We had so much fun staying in Meadow Vole. It was the perfect spot for my 8 year-old and me to stay while visiting friends in Ithaca. We loved the setting, the convenience of the cabin, and my daughter was especially taken with Eshay's Red Eft Cafe in the pavilion and the pancake breakfast. We hope to return next year!”

“The host was awesome! Kept up communication throughout the process and during our stay. The house was clean, spacious, open, airy, and and was conveniently located. (Not too far from town and the SUNY Cortland campus.) Although we did not bring pets, this place is certainly pet-friendly. We saw dog bowls, poop bags, and notes for pet owners in the handbook. ”

“I would absolutely 100% stay at this property again. It is absolutely gorgeous. Very quiet. Far better than any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We will be back”

“My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a few nights after our wedding (including the night of our wedding) and we absolutely loved it! It was the perfect mini getaway and the owner is such a sweetheart! I would highly recommend these cabins to anyone looking for a getaway and wanting to unplug!”
