A couple of things to note for future guests: the lake has a lot of weeds, and while I didn't see any, there are warning signs that alligators are in the area. “Adorable 1 bedroom apartment on 2 stories walking distance from restaurants on broad. Lovely charm and a cool wrap around porch. Very southern! Only criticism is the bed was foam or something and while soft and first we both could feel it in the am. I also thought the living room furniture looked old so we did not sit in there at all. Host was awesome! And i would highly recommend! ”

“This was a 1-night stop over for us, on the way to Florida. Unfortunately, we only had saltwater poles, or we would have loved to try our luck at fishing the lake. Fish were popping the water everywhere. We really enjoyed watching the gators cruising the lake as well! 1st for us. This was just a simple, no frills campground, but would love to ho back one day. Lodge was clean, and enjoyed sitting on the quiet back deck.”
