Room was cold as the weather had changed to rain but the heating did not come on. Breakfast was good. The second night was cut short as the owners dog was left home alone and continued to howl and bark for hours. After trying to contact the owners without success we decided to leave as sleep was impossible and hearing a dog in distress was very unsettling. We left at 9pm for a 2hr drive home. Had no reply from owners after leaving 2 messages on their emergency numbers and sending texts and contacting through Hotels.com requesting a refund for the second night. Two-minute walk to the beach, and a short stroll along the seafront to the shops etc. Alan is a very friendly host, our room was lovely and breakfast was delicious. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
