“Lovely quiet area. Nice that there's only four lodges. Wild life is fabulous. The lodge has everything you need for your stay, plus the added bonus of TVs in the bedrooms.Great that there is no mobile phone signal, so it's very relaxing even though there is internetNot too far into Masham for groceries. Our only criticism is, and it's personal preference, is that the sofas are a bit to low for us.The dog loved watching the rabbits and squirrels. Will visit again”

“We, a group of 16 adults spanning 4 generations, returned to Morton House for its welcome, quality, comfort & locality. Excellent time had by all!”

“It was a cute little bolt hole. We are however tall & it’s very low ceilings and doors so had to duck everywhere. Reasonably well equipped. Very comfortable bed. Some cobwebs between beams & in windows which we used a duster to move those above the bed. The bushes by the main entrance could also do with a trim as encroach on the door way when passing through. Some teas, coffees, biscuits and fresh milk was a nice touch as well as the a little freezer with the fridge. Easy to park in little car……

“Just excellent.”

“A very quiet location in a rural area, ideal position for visiting towns in the area such as Hawes, Leyburn etc. The cottage overlooks fields and stables in the distance, there is a lot of wildlife, rabbits ,squirrels, to see along with the owners ducks, chickens and two cheeky dachshunds. We found the best Coop for supplies was to be found at Masham not far away with easy parking.”

“Very handy for getting into Leyburn. Quiet apartment and friendly owners.”

“Everything was fantastic 💖”

“Our accommodation was thoughtfully equipped, with every detail beautifully considered. Stylish, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, it’s a wonderful place to relax — especially with the stunning views from Penhill. Henry and Penny are exceptional hosts, full of great recommendations for walks, restaurants, and local history. A truly memorable stay that we’d highly recommend.”

“Loved this cottage , had everything you needed , pub next door very handy , we took our grandson to lightwater valley and the forbidden corner approximately 20mins by car to both destinations already looking to book again”

“Well equipped cabin, everything was there for our stay, hot tub wasn’t working correctly lovely , and having the decking was fabulous knowing our dog was secure , staff very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend. And would love to return for another visit .”

“Stayed in this lodge twice, we love it. Everything you need is there”

“As per main comments, some of the soft furnishings, particularly the sofas are past their best and require renewal. Both bathroom’s flooring could do with replacement and some remedial work to address blackened silicone sealant etc. is required. The lodge is still nice but starting to look slightly tired in places. Not a big task to get it to an excellent standard once again.”

“The cottage was lovely with many traditional features. Lovely views. Enough local amenities for any stay, plus you get to see lots of horses!”

“The place was absolutely amazing. Quiet and cute. Had everything we needed and was set up perfectly”

“The privacy and cleanliness of the pods, second time returning and I will be coming back for a third.”

“方便”

“It exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, the house was well equipped. The hosts were friendly and very helpful.”
