The hotel is perfectly clean with beautiful furnishings, flooring, et cetera.
There is no lift which is a major negative.
The location is perfect practically attached to the duomo and on the main square.
The breakfast buffet was one of the smaller ones I've seen in Italy or Sicily.
The staff was helpful and friendly enough perhaps a little bit aloof.
My classic room had no view and I looked into a tiny unkept courtyard, although there was a banana tree out there.
The AC fan had an annoying sound like there was a wind storm going on outside.
So a clean beautiful building and rooms but I found it a little sterile and the negatives of no lift and light breakfast would cause me to choose a different place next time.
As for the view, other rooms had balconies on the Piazza so that would be good, but my room felt too isolated and was at the top of 3 flights of stairs straight up, then you had to walk down a few additional stairs to reach the door.
This is just my honest report of the plusses and minuses.
