“The door was not locked when we arrived. There was no instruction how to lock the door when you go for a walk. It would have been better if the cabin was not so close to the main drag. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Plenty of room for our two families. The highlight of our trip was our time spent in their backyard. It is huge, we basically had our own snow park. We built our own snowball battle field and sledding track. The property was not too far from Soda Springs Ski resort and Sugar Bowl. We only went for one day at the resort and spent the rest of the time at the house in the yard. There was couple of minor issues with the WiFi connection and cleanliness of……

“My daughters, 11 & 14, and I enjoyed watching the river rush by from the kitchen and sitting area in the quaint cabin. Plenty of light, a cozy loft, and a kitchen with amenities made it a perfect base camp for our spring ski trip.”

“The pictures are very deceiving. The house needs major updates. It was dirty and there were cobwebs and spiders. No sheets and no curtains in the bathrooms for privacy at all. We could not shower because of the lack of privacy, and we decided to leave a night early because we were so uncomfortable in the house.”

“This was a fantastic house for our group of six to occupy for a week of skiing. Close enough where you could walk to town. And close enough to hit several ski resorts in under 30 min. House was clean, comfortable and well maintained.”

“Beautiful big house, but it needs some TLC. Let me start with all the positives. It’s a great large cabin for big families. The game room is a nice addition, and there is plenty of space for sledding outside which we absolutely loved. Suggestions: It could be better organized and that’s really it. The kitchen is so spacious but we couldn’t find the utensils to cook and after 4 nights and 12 meals later that was frustrating. “Overall, we were happy stayed at this property and I, as a host recommend to my friends and others this place is very good , however when I booked this property the pictures and informations was exactly matched the same that I wanted, but one week before checking they mentioned that one of the shower of 3 bathrooms is out of order because of leaking, so one of my senior’s guest couldn’t use the other bath tub.”

We were an easy drive to Tahoe Donner for skiing, as well as Truckee for restaurants, etc. My feedback would to bring anything you might need for cooking that isn't the appliance or cookware (including oils, condiments, coffee/tea, etc.). Also, do not park in the driveway during the winter. Luckily we didn't, because the plow never came and we would have been stuck.”

“Our group of 16 had an amazing stay here! We are a group of homeschooling families and we all found comfy spots to sleep. The beds and bedding are all comfy and in great condition. Everything was clean and well supplied. Several people in the group love to cook and appreciated the very well-stocked kitchen.
