"We absolutely loved our stay at the Royston. We both opted in for the 3 course dinner and the food was excellent. Worth staying in a wet Welsh evening. We really appreciated how as a dog friendly establishment they cater for our dog. Treats in a room and lots of fuss. Lovely small touches like fresh homemade cookies in the room , great full cooked fry up in the morning. Great sized room , with en suite . "

"Lynda's accomodation is designed for both form and function. There's enough seating area outside for every type of weather. When it's sunny you can sit in front of the house or lie in the grass, when there's rain you can huddle inside or sit under the canopy. We had some trouble finding the accomodation, so make sure you double check the address beforehand, but Lynda was a dear guiding us there and was always available for questions during the stay. "Was perfect for our needs. Loads of space. Added bonus of a sauna in the apartment helped after a a day riding trails at Dyfi bike park, which is only 10 minutes away. Will use again"

Staff were nice tbf, room was £130 + £15 for our dog well over priced for location and quality, no discount for eating in restaurant prices compared to hotel in major city centres, I travel a lot for work and know! Only continental breakfast included absolute joke. Dinner in restaurant again poor Pad Thai must have been left on pass chicken and prawns dry sauce way to thick again dried out. Then told while relaxing with friends hadn’t seen for 5 years to leave at 9.30 and got to bed, ridiculous "

"We loved our stay at Riverside Cottage. The cottage itself had everything we needed and it has been finished to a very high standard. Unlike a lot of places the appliances are from quality manufacturers such as Samsung (fridge, oven, and dishwasher), AEG (washing machine), and Bosch (gas hob), and the beds are super comfy with crisp white linen on them. Cut off from the (quiet) road also it feels quite alone and it is not overlooked. To cap it off the host was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed for a great stay. That included a list of lovely walks, of various grades, which can be done from/to the cottage, and there is also a nice pub within easy walking distance, which overlooks the estuary (George III Inn). We really relaxed here and just found the whole stay totally perfect"

"Extremely pleasant and accommodating staff. Room was clean and warm as was the en-suite. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of various tea and coffee sachets available in addition to milks and sweeteners etc. Breakfast was freshly cooked to liking. Although I had no problem parking, the car park is small with limited street parking opposite, which potentially could be an issue during busy periods. Overall, staying at The Talbot was an excellent experience. "
