4. Las Salinas Beach

If you had to pick one iconic Ibiza beach, it would be Las Salinas. This long stretch of soft golden sand is backed by a nature reserve filled with pine trees. Las Salinas is unique because of its location adjacent to the large salt flats from which it gets its name. These salt flats are worth a visit in their own right as they have been harvested for salt for hundreds of years. 5. Es Pujols Beach

Playa Es Pujols (or Platja Es Pujols) is a famous beach in Formentera with clear waters and fine sand. We took a cab to get the other side of the island for a more serene environment and turquoise waters. There are different parts of the beach to chill at. My friend got a mild sting from a tiny dying jellyfish that was washing ashore, but the lifeguard station was helpful. Be sure to make reservations at Sunset Ashram for awesome sunset views. Understandably, the businesses there won't let you use their phone to call a taxi, so be prepared! All in all, it was the highlight of my visit to these islands and I highly recommend this beach.
