Kata Noi – meaning Kata “small” Beach – is a world away from many of the larger tourist beaches on busy Phuket Island. With its serene ambiance and spectacular views, Freedom Beach provides a less-crowded alternative to the busier bays in the surrounding area. Since the only way to visit Freedom Beach is via a longtail boat trip, it has become something of a hidden gem. Stroll along the 985 foot (300 meter) stretch of soft, white sand to appreciate the scenery from every angle.

The Chalong Pier is among the main attractions in the Chalong coastal area. The modern jetty lies on the location of a former rickety wooden structure, which was replaced in 2001. Take a boat out on the water in this busy area full of yacht and sailing clubs.
