2. Hadrian's Gate

Hadrian’s Gate is an elegant triumphal arch from the Roman dynasty that has survived intact for almost 2,000 years. It was constructed in A.D. 130 to mark the arrival of Emperor Hadrian to the city. The structure consists of three arched gates in a white marble frame. Around the ornate gate rise towers that add to the charm of the historical part of Antalya.

3. Antalya Clock Tower

The Clock Tower that makes up the ancient walls of the Old Town is the iconic face of Antalya. It is the last survivor of the 80 towers that once surrounded the ancient city. The rising stone structure looms over the surrounding cityscape as a reminder of its rich history. View the tower’s intriguing features of a flag, clock and several ancient inscriptions.

4. Düden Waterfall

The Düden Falls are a set of cascades in Antalya split into two scenic parts. The upper section consists of an oasis of natural ponds and falls in a small park in the northern part of the city. The gardens are home to a “secret” cave behind the cascading water. The lower falls join the Düden River as it reaches the Mediterranean Sea at the southern tip of the city. Visit this part to see the final descent of the river’s voyage to the sea in the form of a thunderous waterfall.

5. Antalya Archeological Museum

The Antalya Museum, with 13 exhibition halls and 5,000 works of art, is one of the largest of its kind in the country. The enormous building is home to thousands of artifacts that tell the story of Turkey’s natural and human history over many millennia.
