4. Cabo Pulmo National Park

Cabo Pulmo Marine Reserve (Parque Nacional Cabo Pulmo) is one the world’s greatest achievements in ocean conservation. This 27.5-square-mile (71.1-square-kilometer) reserve features a 20,000-year-old coral reef, which is the only living reef in the Gulf of California. 5. Playa Hotelera

Playa Hotelera (Hotel Beach) has a long shore faced by many well-known resorts in San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, in Mexico. The beach is great for sunbathing, people-watching, horseback riding and fishing. Play sports, such as beach volleyball, try surfing or go jogging. This is not a good spot for swimming though, as the ocean currents are often strong and dangerous.
