"The Port Townsend Inn is a budget motel and it has been around a while. However, we had an enjoyable stay and were comfortable in our room and the area. The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well, which was nice because it was a couple of hot days. There was ample parking, and the motel was within half a mile of the charming downtown area. This is well within walking distance for us, but if you choose to drive there are lots of parking options closer, and you can catch a ferry downtown. There were many dining options, including pizza, Thai, homestyle, breakfast, coffee shops, ice cream, etc. Lots of shopping and art shops, also.
The check-in process was easy, and the staff were nice. Although the carpet on the walkway outside the doors was worn, housekeepers were cleaning the lighting fixtures and dusting under the walkway roof, which tells me they care about keeping the environment clean. The carpet and fixtures in our room were in good shape and worked well. The pool and spa are out of commission because they are doing renovations, but there is a nice green area downstairs from the pool building, which was good for our dog to stretch his legs and relieve himself."
"The Cedar Lodge was beautiful and very comfortable. Two nice bathrooms, a comfortable bed, and a clean kitchen with all the supplies you may need to cook. They had a great massage chair, a shared hot tub, and a beautiful campfire view right on the edge of the ocean cliffs.
There’s a few other properties nearby so you have privacy without being in the middle of nowhere.
The hosts are very responsive and left a nice booklet of ‘things to do’ from the locals perspective, which made planning the day much easier. "
"Good bed and quiet room. Internet was not working, which was frustrating as I had work to complete. Figured a workaround and got things taken care of. Otherwise very nice. Will book again."
"This cottage #5 is a cleverly designed small cottage with lovely views, a small but very adequate kitchen, nice bath facilities and a good bed. The waterfront property really feels quiet and private. Checkout is easy with a key drop and a text, check in was very easy with lots of information from the attendant. "
"Really enjoyed our stay! You will need to be prepared for stairs though. Right in the heart of everything to do in PT and walking distance end to end. Absolutely recommend "
"1. Easy walk to Victoria ferry terminal
2. No air conditioning…room was very stuffy at check-in, window fan running in unsecured open slider window.
Room did cool down by 8pm. There was an additional floor fan to stir the air.
3. Room was on ground floor, persons in 2nd floor room kept pacing until 11pm. Annoying.
4. Light fixture/exhaust fan in bathroom missing cover, bare light bulb showing.
5. Refrigerator/freezer missing handle, duct taped. The freezer was totally frosted up. Was able to squeeze ice pack into freezer, did not refreeze it.
6.refrigerator portion kept items cold enough.
7. Very hot water and good water pressure
8. Bathroom sink drained slowly, handle for stopper not attached.
9. 1/2” air gap between door and threshold.
10. Mattress is innerspring with innerspring foundation.
Wiggly, partner could feel my tossing.
11. No nightlight
12. Nice laminate flooring, but rooms/furniture need serious updating. "
Chez ZigZag: 2 Bdrm. Full Kitchen, Water/Mtn - Killer View, Sauna
10/10 Excellent
"Super cool property! Cute yard spaces, easily walk to the ferry or downtown for dinner. Great home base for Olympic National Park excursions. Clean. Owner is onsite to address any needs. Brent and Amy were very friendly. We are dog people, so we loved hanging out with Winnie, however it is worth noting, she is an aggressive barker. "
"The staff at this property are so kind and professional! The property is clean and very nice. Free snacks, water bottles and breakfast. It’s close to lots of dining options and the property has outdoor seating. It was a great stay! Thank you "

"The property itself is outdated but the rooms are very clean and nice! The staff was wonderful during our stay. They are extremely accommodating to families. Overall, we would travel here again and would recommend it. "
"Manresa castle is a really beautiful building inside and out. Everything is really comfortable and it’s only a few minutes away from downtown Port Townsend. Showerhead is a little low so you will have to bend your head down in order to wash your hair. "
"We had fantastic service inside the hotel and at the delicious restaurant. The setting is gorgeous with views of the bay on all sides. The room was nicely sized and beds were comfortable. It’s a a great, central location to be able to attend various locations all over the Olympic Peninaula!"
