“The garage and downstairs are not open to the guest, which was a little odd, but overall the house was cute and clean.”

“The room that I booked was huge compared to other rooms we stayed at over the months. I realized I may have booked a handicap room but it helped with the bed being a little lower and the toilet wasn't the normal one that is low it was higher just like at home easier to get up from. The chairs were soft to sit in and the couch was great. The bed when you first walked in looked like it had lumps in it. Still a little hard for my first choice but better than the Hilton that we stayed before. ……

“Very good one”

“I am SO TIRED of hoteliers who spend money on updating rooms and then buy cheap BRICK HARD mattresses. How difficult is it to comprehend that people NEED A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP? No one wants to sleep on a brick at the Taj Mahal. Sleep Inn built a name on good beds. I used to select them specifically for their beds. I have not been in a comfortable bed in ANY SLEEP INN in years. Put the money into an orthopedically sound bed (and NOT memory foam - it's terrible for the spine, too).”

“Very good ”

“I have sta”

“Quick check in and check out”

“Halfway to our destination, sad they only have breakfast on weekends.”

“Everything was good, only thing that could have been better was the bed. A little hard for my liking.”

“I have never had such a horrible hotel experience before. Shower was dirty upon arrival. Tv did not work. Called desk and they said they would ask manager (none on site) and get back to me. Never did I called again and they said sorry. No offer to move rooms or have someone come up. Day 2 I called on tv again. They said- yeah it just doesn’t work in some rooms. Would you book a hotel with a teenager without a tv? Then they tried to charge me for the full stay at checkout when I had prepaid……

“Beautiful hotel really clean very friendly and helpful staff great breakfast very nice clean rooms”

“Not good. I booked this room earlier this year when Univ of IA Homecoming dates were announced; rates are always raised, but this property seemed to be mid-price with above-average reviews. Disappointed at the state of this hotel, especially for the high rate they were charging. Desk and breakfast area staff were nice, but they seemed understaffed and ill-equipped to handle the Homecoming weekend crowd. There were lines of ppl trying to check in and out at the front desk. Floors and carpets……

“The hotel was recently built (less than 5 years) and things are pretty new. It’s about 10 minutes driving distance from downtown Iowa City. There are shopping mall and tons of restaurants near the hotel. Staff are very friendly.”
