"This was the perfect stop after three days in the Highlands and before continuing along the South Coast. We arrived at Brú after 8pm, which was just about right. Honestly, I do not think we could have driven much further that night. There are completely dark areas between the cottages with no artificial lighting, so there is almost no light pollution. The number of stars you can see is incredible, and this would be a perfect place for watching the northern lights. Unfortunately, we got absolutely no aurora during our two nights here. The cottage itself was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and a good amount of space for two people. My favourite part was the sofa in front of the L-shaped floor-to-ceiling windows and the terrace facing a huge open grassland. Waking up, sitting there with a cup of coffee and looking out over that view was incredibly relaxing."
