“Very spacious and well appointed villa with master bedroom upstairs and the other two at ground level. Appreciated the complimentary shuttle to and from sister property Pacific Hotel Resort that we used in some capacity every day.

“The villa was very well stocked and everything was in great condition, very clean. We loved having an air fryer and skillet. Bed was comfortable, lots of blankets pillows and towels were provided. Free access to laundry and laundry soap was great. They seem to be prepared for anything a guest may need including snorkel gear. Front porch area was great for morning coffee and breakfast. We enjoyed watching the planes take off. Also happy to have a hot shower!

“Easy walk to store for essentials and water. The property was very clean. Much more spectacular than photos showed. Beautiful sunrise at the beach is a must. Great lanai to visit with friends or just relax. Very friendly animals. Property arranged transport for my late arrival. Very seemless entry with great communication! ”

“A great place to stay. We were welcomed from arrival and our hosts were friendly and helpful. A small supermarket was only a 2 minute walk. We hired a 2 person scooter to get around and enjoy the island and this is a great way to explore. Snorkelling is a few kms away but fantastic. We would certainly recommend Tropical Sands and hope to go back some day ”

“Was a great place to stay. Nice to be away from the crowds of tourists. Plenty to do with the pool, canoes etc - there is a lot more sea life in the water than further up the lagoon. Desiree was so helpful and accomodating- nothing was too much trouble. The cleaning staff were excellent and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Ein absolut wunderbares Schmuckstücke auf Rarotonga. Die Villen sind mit sehr viel liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr geräumig. Es ist irgendwie alles klein und familiär aber man hat dennoch völlige Privatsphäre. Das Frühstück besteht aus Toasts, Käseaufschnitt, Eiern, Cornflakes, Milch, Kaffee und Obst und ist in der eigenen Villa verfügbar und wird regelmäßig aufgefüllt. Draußen gibt es Sitzgelegenheiten um zusammen zu Essen oder zu Trunken und die hauseigene Tapasbar ist jeden Tag ab 16……

“The hotel’s location is great, with convenient transportation and many good restaurants within walking distance, especially with a night market right next door. However, the hotel’s facilities are quite outdated, and the cleanliness of the rooms is average. There is even a leakage issue with the ceiling. “Kristina and her staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. The back villa came with amazing views with loungers and a table and chairs to enjoy the raised deck views. Bikes and kayaks were available for use and allowed us to see three turtles in the lagoon while paddling on three separate days. Loungers were also available for use on the beach.
