“Nicely refurbished hotel on the sea front, just a 14 minute walk into the old town. We had a junior suite which was lovely however to use the safe you had to pay extra. The pool area is gated and does not open until 10am which we felt was quite ridiculous. By 9.45am there was a large queue of people waiting to get a sunbed. It’s hot enough to be by the pool much earlier so why restrict the entry time? This has put us off returning to a Barceló hotel. Breakfast was ok, rather tasteless, and the……

“Really nice hotel, ticked all the boxes for what was needed. Not the largest selection of food but it was all cooked well and presented well. The restaurant staff were sometimes a bit slow in coming to take your drinks orders, sometimes we went without. So convenient being right on the beach front and the view was amazing. Can not comment on the bar too much as we only went twice and we did not watch the entertainment. I would definitely go back”

“Reception hatte über 20min für check in. Upgrade war erst am nächsten Tag möglich gemäss Reception. Unser Zimmer war im Untergeschoss obwohl wir eine Suite gebucht hatten. Unsere Zimmer waren Katastrophal und sehr sehr hellhörig. Als ich nach 15 min. zum receptionist ging wollte er das Upgrade für den nächsten Tag organisieren jedoch hat dies auch nicht geklappt und wir mussten 3 Nächte im Untergeschoss in dem Hellhörigen Zimmer übernachten. Ansonsten war das Hotel sehr schön und das ganze……

“Been at the Sahara Sunset for about 15 years (time share) great apartments , so clean and well equipped all with a balcony with table chairs sunbeds ,kitchen but always eat out . Great pool sunbeds ( if the bed if not used for a hour any towels are removed to stop hogging them all day)restaurant on site from early till late catering for all tastes , entertainment on most nights , gym , spa etc 5 min walk to the beach which is all sand (life guards on the beach) 10 mins to main town a quite area……
