"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived we just stopped and took in the fabulous view of the rocky shoreline and the ocean. This place is all about the view.A small cabin with a bonus bedroom in a separate building steps away made for a perfect place for two guys to stay. We explored nearby Sue-Meg State Park, Arcata Community Forest and Luffenholtz beach and the tide pools.The cabin is cozy and has a small well equipped kitchen. We cooked our dinners at home because we had the best seats around for a view of the ocean.This is a hidden gem. It is a great place to relax and take in the rocky shoreline. The sounds of the waves and comfortable beds make it very restful."

"Beautiful historic property cleverly repurposed into a cozy inn. Our stay was delightful until synth harp music began blaring from the downstairs living room at 8 am. We have never experienced such a rude awakening and discovered it was set up on a Bluetooth speaker downstairs on what seemed to be max volume as we left - including commercials! If this is their way of making sure everyone is out earlier than the stated check out time I can attest it worked, but can’t recommend it for the same reason."

"The Garage House was a great home base for our trip to the Redwoods. It had everything we needed, and was very clean. It was a great place to come home to at the end of the day. And the view is amazing. We also appreciated the stack of takeout menus on the coffee table - this let us try some of the local places, and also enjoy eating dinner while looking out over the ocean. "
