“Beautiful quiet secluded place. Lovely host. Lots of condiments etc that were available and natural products to purchase. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Accommodation also included a sauna (which unfortunately we did not have enough time to use). Please note that the shower was over the top of a shub and as I am quite short was a tad awkward to get out of, however there was a very sturdy handrail to hold onto to assist. I would stay there again for the peace and quiet.”

“Kia ora! We used this whare as a research retreat to do some writing and some deep thinking. The accommodations were lovely, clean, and tidy. An extra nice touch was a load of wood being dropped off at the whare if we needed it, and a 10% discount at the cafe, literally at the end of the driveway, was very convenient and a lovely touch of hospitality. Thank you, Emma, for looking after the crew. Highly recommend”
