“This is a little gem in the heart of a village Highly recommend to everybody, restaurants pubs shop and beach all within minutes of the cottage’s property was spotless clean and lovely and warm , met the family over the course of four days all very nice with plenty of smiles every time you see them Very dog friendly with many lovely walks around the area”

“We had a wonderful stay in this cosy, quiet cottage with plenty of space and everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked but, you will need to bring any essentials salt and pepper, oil, etc. very nice pet welcome pack and packs of welcome with tea and cleaning items. There is a village shop nearby and several pub restaurants. There are a number of great walks on your doorstep from easy to more challenging without needing drive.. A beautiful area to explore so……

“We had a wonderful five-day stay at Tawny Cottage in Portinscale in mid-May. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very cosy, and it was such a lovely touch to find the heating already on when we arrived. The kitchen was exceedingly well equipped, which made self-catering easy, and the beds were very comfortable, so we slept really well throughout our stay.
The location was excellent too - close to The Farmer’s Arms, a traditional pub serving good food, and with easy access to Keswick while still……

“Lake View Cottage is easy to locate with plenty of parking spaces with easy access to the North Lakes' attractions as well as the coast. The cottage was clean, comfortable, well designed and with all the necessary, easy to use, self catering appliances. The views of Skidaw and Blencathra from the lounge, kitchen and private patio are outstanding. The staff at Keswick Cottages were also very approachable, friendly and helpful. We would definitely use Keswick Cottages and Lake View Cottage again.”
