“When we booked we were just looking for a little room for the night- but the property was a gem in the center of Mount Vernon. The staff was so helpful when we arrived and the breakfast was perfection (we didn’t know it came with breakfast! What a treat). We feel so lucky to have found the Mount Vernon Inn for our brief visit to Kenyon College.”

“Staff was less than caring, had very brass character from arrival to departure. They approved a late check out and then demanded an early check out. Room was decently clean but looked fatigued and dated. I would not return.”

“Hotel was oversold and had no room for us, though we had prepaid and had called the night before to make sure our reservation was as expected. No phone call in advance of arrival. Staff did help us find an alternate hotel, however we will not be staying at this particular hotel again.”

“It would of been nice to have 2 chairs in room to sit on. Breakfast could of have more items than pastries to eat. Being diabetic the only thing for me was the small egg muffins.”
