"Be careful booking this location the room and resort were great but our building was under separate ownership which meant it was fully self catered the there were no towels no sheets for the beds only the duvet and pillows which were stained and not pleasant to sleep on. We found a cockroach in one of the kitchen appliances and there was no way of getting service from reception as they had nothing to do with the building/room. Be careful staying here "

"The hotel is a quaint little boutique hotel near close to shopping, food, and the road to the Planpraz lift. The hotel is nestled on a quiet street. The UTMB start was close by so that was a plus. Staff was wonderful they have luggage storage and a spa. This was our first stay here and I booked it again in 10 days to stay at the end of our TMB trip. I will bring my husband back here when we come to Chamonix. 111/10"

Main negatives are basic furnishing (a classic high volume ski hotel), significant noise issues in central rooms (bar/events on terrace), pets are allowed (barking early morning). Nothing a good pair of ear plugs can’t solve. Would book again."

"This hotel is really convenient -- I arrived in Geneva and took a shuttle, and the shuttle stops right at the Rockypop as one of its shared transfers. The restaurant's food was good, the room was clean, and the decor is fun. "You cannot beat the location. Very close to the train station and right on the main walkway that lines the lake. While I have read others rave about the breakfast, we did not feel the same way. 30CHF was a bit steep. While there was a wide selection of food - pancakes, an egg station, cheese/meet and fruit, we thought most of the prepared food didn't taste that great, just lacked seasoning, but I guess to be expected from a buffet. I think if you are going to get breakfast from here it is almost better to order stuff individually or find a cafe nearby. Other than that, the staff were all very nice, the free coffee, water, candy and popcorn station was a hit with our son and we enjoyed being able to step right out of the hotel and walk down the pathway along the lake."
